The Center for Transformative Counseling seeks to expand personal and community awareness of grief and loss as opportunities for transformation through counseling and education, using an expanded theory of the grief process. This is an approach that both incorporates and goes beyond the work of Elisabeth Kubler-Ross to address the griever's new identity, need for reconnection with their loved one, and ability to create a new life out of what they have learned about their loved one and themselves through the grief process.
